Eisenhower Knights Wrestling

2024 -2025 Season

Eisenhower's Youth Wrestling Program presents a wonderful opportunity for boys and girls from Kindergarten to 6th grade
to explore and develop their skills in wrestling. This program focuses on instilling important life qualities such as
perseverance, confidence, a strong work ethic, and discipline, which can positively impact participants throughout their lives.
Boys can take part in the general wrestling program, while girls have the unique chance to train and compete alongside
other female athletes in the Youth Girls Wrestling Program. Both initiatives aim to enhance physical fitness and coordination
while also nurturing friendships and a sense of community among young wrestlers. This is a fantastic opportunity for your

Meet Your Coaches

Paul Waite, affectionately referred to as Coach Paul, boasts an
extensive background in wrestling and combat sports that highlights
his commitment and skill. He embarked on his wrestling journey in
the 2nd grade with the Little Knights, quickly establishing himself as a
standout athlete. During his high school years, he achieved two
Northwest Regional qualifications, accumulating 122 victories and
securing the 4th position on Warren County's all-time wins
leaderboard at the time.

After high school, Paul transitioned into the realm of combat sports,
where he thrived in grappling competitions, claiming multiple
tournament titles and finishing 2nd at the NAGA World
Championships, competing against the renowned UFC fighter Khabib
Nurmagomedov. Additionally, he entered the cage, compiling an
impressive fight record of 6 wins and just 1 loss.

Beyond his athletic endeavors, Coach Paul values his family life
immensely. He is joyfully married to his high school sweetheart, Sara,
and is a devoted father to two wonderful daughters, Elizabeth and
Autumn. Since 2018, he has been passionately coaching the Little
Knights, imparting his love for wrestling and combat sports to young
athletes. His story is a testament to not only his sporting
accomplishments but also his dedication to family and his community.
